Shut down by the man!
Training has been going well I got in a 72 mile ride on Saturday and am hitting the weight room twice a week. Yesterday was a 4-5 mile run and go out with the little bro to celebrate his birthday. Seriously it's frightening when I look at him it's like looking in a mirror 10 years in the past. Today I hit the weights mostly working on the back and arms, with some wood chops and TGU's thrown in for good measure. I followed that up with a 3000 yard maintenance swim. Park City is coming up in 2 weeks and I want to end 09 with a win damn it. There is debate to if I will do anything else this year but right now it's pretty low on the priority scale. Just got back from dinner and coffee with a rather intriguing woman and this weekend I join Bjoern on the Island for some rest and relaxation.
I've got a few job applications out and I'm hoping that I get some positive news from at least one of them. But life is moving on. Tomorrow is a short day at the office so hopefully a morning run and an evening bike or swim. I do have photos from most of the races I did this summer so I will post a summer photo album soon. I just want to wait until after Park City and my weekend away from it all.
Fight the man!

Real Life.......
I just signed up for RI 70.3 I will most likely throw down on the Patriot in a month, since it probably won't fill until May. My parents have already stated Eagleman will be a family road trip ( There goes my explative filled speech if I qualify for Kona, but on the plus side it will be good to have a massive cheering section, consider my sisters,Mike, Parents, the Schultz's ( Pete and Bill not Ken's family unless of course you want to come down Ken I would welcome it.)Team Zoot GU ,HEAT , Team Blazeman, my fellow bloggers and the random people I meet along the way.
So for now I am going crazy with the free time that my limited to non-existent training has opened up.
About the Blogger Reunion in Jan. I don't know if I'll make it, granted I will have limited classes because if all goes well I will be done with a majority of my classes, this and next semester. So I'll just be finishing the minor, and possibly a lab., but I am also planning on two weeks in the land of the Kiwis come March, I figure on my second go round I want to explore a little bit more of the country..we'll see.
Well it's now about 4AM stupid Daylight savings time, I've gone on a little too much for one day.
I'll probably sleep in tomorrow ( and go to Late Mass, the joy of being Catholic in Lent.)
Trying to get back to the grind.

Stay Back Or I'll shoot you all like dogs.....

Hurry he's got cash! It alway seems like Saturday on the labor day weekend is the busiest. It's the last chance to "CASH MY BONUS CHECK!" for most people. ( the fine folks at Webster financial to avoid our own employees from partaking in this crisis, pay us next week.) I'm predicting that by noon I'll be handing out singles and fives which means ladies I'm sorry but when you go to pay for lunch it's going to be good old Abe and G-money Washington, which sadly leads to that "is she a waitress, bar tender, or a stripper?" look. So in advance If you get a stack of singles and not the one crispy benjamin you were looking for, I'm sorry but we're tossing out everything in the aresnal to keep the mob at bay. After work (if I survive....) I have a long ride/run on tap. The Hill-ilz-ils for the Nutmeg State Half are calling for a bitch stomping. The last two days nothing much has gone down: Thursday got in a swim ( 3000 yards ) Friday I got in 3200 yds in the morning, sandwhiched in work and then got a 7 miler in afterward. IM KY still in the air, my sisters want me to do it..Angry is giving me words of caution....I'm waiting till pay day to continue this debate.
Post the Hate! or Love? or just plain apathy.
